HOTEL PLAZA

Calle Van Horne, No. 1 e/ República y Avellaneda | Camaguey

ABOUT THIS HOTEL

Founded in the early 20th century, this is the oldest of Camagüey’s hotels. It preserves most of its original architectural characteristics. A place of obligatory reference in the city, it treasures, among its long list of relevant events, the stay of Chilean poetess Gabriela Mistral and the broadcast of the first radio station outside the Cuban capital.
It is a popular hotel that undoubtedly would need a strong refurbishment to both the estate for the interior. However, it is really cheap and if for one night can go well. It has a good location for sightseeing.
